Those who subscribe to certain maxims know that sharing is caring and a friend with weed is a friend indeed, making Wiz Khalifa the most friendly, caring rapper on the block. TMZ caught up with Wiz this past weekend, several paparazzi receiving a parting gift from him as he handed out loose nugs of his personal strain Khalifa Kush.
In the above video, Wiz doesn’t answer questions about the election, instead filling his grinder up and telling the cameramen around him that they might miss someone else by focusing on him. “If you smoke weed only listen to Wiz Khalifa,” he says, later adding, “Y’all gonna miss somebody else coming up out of here filming me rolling weed and shit.” The cameraman then comments on the pungent odor of the bud, Wiz noting, “Yeah I know you can smell it, cause it’s that good shit.” He then adds that “people like you guys” are the target demographic.
It seems odd that the paps wouldn’t know of Wiz’s personal strain as, in a way, it led to his big blow-up with Kanye West earlier in the year. When Wiz tweeted out “kk,” Kanye took it as a shot toward his wife, Kim Kardashian. Kanye and Wiz share some romantic overlap, Wiz marrying, having a son with and then splitting from Kanye’s ex Amber Rose. “KK is weed fool. Reason’s why your not wavy. Go bacc to Swish,” tweeted Wiz, making reference to Kanye’s album title at the time, <em>Waves</em>. “I been smashed the idea of that album even existing. I got joints to roll.”
