This Man Has To Carry His Girlfriend’s ID To Prove He Isn’t A Pedophile

Shakey Finks, aged 42, says his life has become unbearable because people have wrongly accused him of molesting children.

It has become so bad that he carries a photocopy of Jessica Stevens’ driving licence wherever he goes to prove she is not underage.

Police advised him to keep it with him in case he is challenged, he claimed.

The couple first met two years ago and became an item six months later. But Shakey says since then they have been subjected to threats and vile abuse because Jessica looks younger than her age.

He claims he has been tormented in the street and his photo has even been wrongly circulated around the local schools.

He voluntarily went to police and had a full background check done for anyone who asked and they confirmed he has never been in trouble with the law.

Shakey, of Plymouth, Devon said: “I’ve been to the police about it. I’ve had a complete background check done. I don’t have a criminal background. I haven’t been arrested or charged with anything in my life. I go into town and mothers grab their children close. Jessica is very small, petite and doesn’t look her age – that’s where all this has come from.”

Jessica said Shakey can’t even visit the local shops without abuse.

Jessica said that they don’t even like to go out very often.

‘We used to see each other off at the bus stop and go into the city to see the Christmas lights, but Shakey is now hesitant to go anywhere.’

Jessica has now been to the police three times in the past six months.

The two spoke out to try and put the rumours to rest for good.

She added: ‘We have involved the police who have supported us in confirming that he has never committed any offence of this nature and in fact he has no criminal record at all,

‘This has deeply upset us both as these allegations are wholly untrue, and has caused us both to suffer from anxiety and depression.

‘I can completely understand parents’ worries in this day and age.

‘However the abuse of an innocent person based only on rumours is completely wrong, and is even slanderous.’
