In Bristol this afternoon, a police helicopter had landed to tell the man that he had to bring his kite down because he was said to be flying it at around 1,000 feet in the air.
The man wasn’t arrested and no further action was taken, but the officer had to remind him that the limit for kite flying is only at 240 ft.

Whilst on Clifton Downs we took the opportunity let people have a look around the aircraft and ask the pilot loads of questions.

The officer, and pilot, took the time to explain in detail the dangers of flying his kite too high.
A BBC reporter has stated that small and light aircrafts usually fly past that area at around 500ft.
