Guinness World Record Set With 1,200 Mattresses And People

At the Gaylord Resort and Conference Centre in Maryland, more than 1,000 workers had some together with carrying mattresses to perform this massive display of human dominos to set the world record.

The participants were employees from the State’s based appliance and electronics store, Aaron’s. They had fortunately pulled it off in only one attempt lasting a whopping 13 minutes and 38 seconds.

The stunt itself, which took place on Thursday as part of the company’s annual meeting, consisted of exactly 1,200 people, 7,000 square feet of space, and 34 rows of mattresses.

John Robinson, the store’s CEO, was the very first to activate the record by pushing the starting mattress which triggered the amazing domino effect.

Every single mattress used in the crazy display will be donated to charities all around Washington, DC., including places like A Wider Circle, Sasha Bruce, and Wanda Alston, which are youth homeless shelters.

The previous world record was held by German company Höffner Möbelgesellschaft GmbH & Co. KG and was done back in 2012 using 1,590 participants.
